We had a beautiful weekend a couple of weeks ago, so we decided to get outside and cut up down limbs, and rake and burn leaves. Even mom got out and used a rake with Nicole and I. We plan on being out again this weekend as it is supposed to be in the 70's on Saturday!

Promised Pics

Ok here are a couple of the pictures that I promised, I am still trying to figure out the flash reflecting in the eye balls creating both red and blue eye lol, my dogs look like demon dogs. I used the fix red eye function, but it kept telling me there was no red eye found.... grrrrrrr... Let me know if there is a solution?

This is Mom's new Doxie puppy Tess, she is a clown and plays with Maddie my Aussie alot. I will add pics of my big baby next time.

Smokey our black pom is below and is as cute as a button, though she is only about 6 years old she already has a white mustache, goatie, and eyebrows.

New Camera

Well I finally broke down and bought a digital camera. No I am not getting rid of my Cannon AE1 as it takes AWESOME pics, but after taking 35 rolls of film in to Wal Mart to put on disc for me and I have another 50-75 to go.... yes I know its BAD lol. I love to take pictures but hate to have them developed. So now I will be able to post more pics of Mom, Nicole, the puppys hehe... I can't wait, now I just have to figure out how to work a digital camera...

SNOW!!!

Well I have to admit that yes I have been lighting blessing candles, and dancing my zany snow dance when I walk down the halls at my work (yes my co-workers know I am nuts). And it looks like it may actually pay off tonight! We are supposed to get 1-6 inches of snow... yep I said snow here in Alabama! You do not know how much I miss it! Of course it won't be the light powdery stuff of my native Oregon, it will be the wet mushy stuff, but it will be SNOW!

Happy Birthday Nana

Yep its her birthday tomorrow, she will be 76!!! We had a BBQ at Bill and Terri's yesterday, just a quiet get together with her and the boys, it was alot of fun. Tisha and her friend Steven joined us and we played domino's. I hope to get an inexpensive digital camera this year so that I can load pics into my computer system. It dawned on me the other day that I do not have alot of pictures of my family (mainly because I had to have to have them developed lol). So maybe going digital will get me going on family pics. Terri will have a birthday on the 16th of this month and Kayla turned 18 on Saturday and Sharon 19 (?) tomorrow..... lordy when did they get so old? Where has the time gone? I have been contemplating my life the past few months, wondering where I am going with it and what I am doing with it... you would think since I will be 50 in a few months that I would know by now wouldn't you? But it always seemed like there would be time tomorrow....
